RECORDS SEARCH
The public record search costs $5 per name. Use the attached PUBLIC INFORMATION REQUEST FORM.
SEARCH / COPY REQUEST
Obtaining a copy of a court document is a two-step process.
- The initial step is to make the request in writing using the PUBLIC INFORMATION REQUEST FORM. If you do not know the case/ cause number, include a $5 search fee per name ($5 per civil & $5 per criminal search). You must provide sufficient detail for the clerks to perform a search for file and document you are requesting.
- If the document is discovered, the clerk will contact the requestor and inform them of the purchase amount for the copies. Once payment is received by the District Clerk’s office, the copies will be sent to requestor. Prices are determined by number of pages within a given document. Copies (certified or not) are $1 per page and it is an additional $1 to certify document.
- Before the copies will be sent, the requestor must forward payment in the form of credit card payment via certifiedpayments.net, money order, cashier’s check, cash in person or personal check (with TDL#, DOB and 2 phone numbers). Please allow at least 48 hours to process after payment is received.
